How to create new account on COA

  1. Navigate to the main menu

· Click on “accounting” and select on “chart of accounts

2. Begin creating a new account

· Click on “new”.

  1. Fill in the required details.

· Account type: Select which account type you want (Assets, liabilities, etc…)

· Account code: Write the account code on COA with the right sequence if it summary or child account.

· Name in Arabic: write the Arabic name of this account.

· Name in English: write the English name of this account.

· Description: Add any additional notes or information related to the account you
added.

4. Alternatively, you can navigate to the summary account for the account you want to add and click on the below “three dots” then “add account”.

5. this will direct you to the below window.

  1. fill in the required details.

· Account type: Select which account type you want (Assets, liabilities, etc.…)

· Account code: Write the account code on COA with the right sequence if its summary or child account.

· Parent account: Select the parent (summary) account of this account from COA.

· Name in Arabic: write the Arabic name of this account.

· Name in English: write the English name of this account.

· Description: Add any additional notes or information related to the account you
added.

  1. Click on “save”.
